Our world is full of pain, suffering, broken dreams, and shattered hearts.
But here at Lovely in Dirt, we see through the muck and the mire.
We believe that Jesus restores, that Jesus mends, that he calls us righteous, new, beautiful, and lovely. Redeemed.
After you’ve put your trust in him, all he sees is righteousness. Your sin has been thrown as far as the east is from the west. You have been made new. You are no longer a slave to shame or fear. You have the mind of Christ. (2 Cor 5:17, Rom 8:15, 1 Cor 2:16)
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Here at Lovely in Dirt, we want to call out the things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise. We want to set our minds on them. We want to dwell on them.
Philippians 4:8 is our creed.
We don’t worship beautiful things, we worship a Creator who brings life out of dust, who imprints His fingerprints upon his handiwork, who turns chaos to order.
We worship the Lord, the maker of Heaven and Earth, the author and the perfector, the beginning and the end.
Everywhere we look, we see Him.
